About the Founder - Kimberly Clegg, M.A.
I'm Kimberly Clegg — a proud Deaf woman, educator, advocate, and mom. I hold a B.A. in Deaf Studies and an M.A. in Sign Language Education from Gallaudet University, and I’ve dedicated my life to supporting language access and cultural understanding within and beyond the Deaf community.
I created Hands of Culture to offer a modern, inclusive, and empowering space for people of all ages to learn American Sign Language and connect with the richness of Deaf culture.
This site is built with love, community, and visual language at the heart of everything. I hope you find inspiration, clarity, and connection here.
